I dont need healing potions that badly yet, clevel 18, I dont even use
my healing spells as a priest. Some ogre dropped a leather cap, which
identified as good in 3 steps, hmmm, lets wear ( wis goes up with 2 )
hmmmm... Then 5 steps later I see Wormtongue which drops an armor,
since I have remove curse I put it on and it identifies as good in 2
steps. After recall I find out it is Thranduil & Arvedui. Dlevel 7 here
I come
I _like_ cheap *Identify*
I _like_ better choices in all shops.
I _like_ fighting Ogres with my Lucerne Hammer(+7,+7) after a mac (
bless ).
I _like_ having to dive so fast that wands and staves are usefull, they
are
usually {empty} when I run back.
This evening I will probably _like_ getting 2 blows with my Hammer
under 1.0.1
One thing that would be nice is dropping the monster generation rate
once you are on the level. Since I am quite 'Quick'ly playing, it is
deadly to find a bunch of Cave Orcs on my carefully cleared path when I
have to retreat. Question : have you changed the behaviour of Teleport
Level scrolls ? They all seemed to go up
Maybe the RNG is toying
with me.
One last idea, maybe ( if you really dont like WoR ), you could build
more
stair hallways

and have an increased change on ending up on a level in one of these.
