An Appaloosa is a horse breed, I believe originated by the Nez perce tribes of the intermountain northwest. A very rugged horse known for it's spotted behind. It is also the state horse of Idaho.

You probably want to know what the AMD Appaloosa processor is all about. Sorry can't help.

Which of the ones listed will be aimed at the Desktop segment and not the Server segment. I would like to build a computer in about 3 months but I would wait a few more months if something great is so close to coming otu.

Ok, but what speeds are these processors running at and what bus etc? When is it worth upgrading? I guess I want to know when the next generation processor for a gamer is coming out. I'm not so worried about laptops or servers for myself.
