I recently found Win XP professional (acidemic version) for a very good price. Does anyone have knowledge what the differance is between the standrad version and the acidemic version?

Newegg and MWave have academic versions of MS software. The requirment is that it be purchased with hardware. And the hardware requirment is, as quoted from Newegg "These items may not be purchased without another non-software item from our store. Any non-software item in our on-line store will be sufficient. There are no minimum dollar requirements or specific hardware requirements."

So, buy a ten cent case screw.
