Technically, it's not quite complete. I'm playing a Dunadan priest, and
I've maxed Dex, Con, and Cha. I've got an amulet of Wis +5 and
Thengol, so even if I switch away from my Holy Avenger, I've got Wis
over 18/200. Str is in the 18/90's and int I don't really care about.
About the only thing I've got left to gain stat wise is a bit of melee
damage and carrying capacity from Str.
Unfortunately, I've got no rPoison. Am I condemmed to loiter at 1900'
until something that grants that shows up?
Also, does it make a difference if my Wis is 18/200 or 18/249? I've
got Angrist, so if I wield it I get a bit of perm speed.

Rings of Resist Poison are native to a depth of 2000', which is still 100 above
the level where rPoison is important.
Regardless, your 200 Wis means that if you have Etheral Openings, you have a 0%
fail rate Teleport Other for dealing with big poison breathers. If you have +10
speed or Detection for seeing the Drolems (a dark green g) ahead of time, you
can dive down to atleast dlvl 50 with out much risk from not having rPoison.

Is that 800hp @ L50? I've got 553 @L36. My con is at 170.
However I have Eth. Openings & Godly insights. It sounds like I might
be better off heading deeper and being paranoid with detect spells.
Like people have pointed out I can rely on Teleport Away. (Thanks for
mentioning Greater Basilisks, I wasn't thinking about them.)
That would prevent boredom. I've caught myself holding down the move
key to clear out a group of weak monsters, which is a good way to end
up wondering how you died.

No, use detection and teleportation to avoid fights. The biggest problem
past 2000 is temp speed, until you get a decent amount of staves of speed
you will have problems killing the decent drop guys unless your HP and melee
offense is insane.

I'd just shrug and keep going. Detect more than you were doing, and
avoid fights with big poison breathers. They're not that common.
(Yes, you may get unlucky or careless and die horribly. But you'll
probably be having more fun this way.)

The extra speed will slightly reduce the chance of one of the poison
breathers getting the drop on you.

However, staffs of speed are common at 2000 feet, and with scrolls of
recharging, you can get a lot of charges out of each staff.

This thing is nice, enhanced damage, brands and useful pval bonuses.

It isn't difficult to get a better missle weapon that this by a large
amount. Be on the lookout for acid brand and high slay evil holy missle
ammo, horde all of it regardless of the type.

This is really strong and going to be hard to beat your armor at home won't
do it unless you find Thorin and want to swap shields.
> j) The Iron Helm 'Holhenneth' [5,+10] (+2)
I would not trade this for ESP, but detection goes a long way.
> m) a Scroll titled "ta oood anulk" of Banishment
I would not carry this, these are too rare to waste.
These you can carry because late game you will have the spell or a staff
anyway.
> j) an Engagement Ring of Damage (+15)
I doubt you will ever wear this again.
> t) The Dagger 'Angrist' (2d4) (+10,+15) [+5] (+4)
I doubt you will ever use this, the effect on spell fail rate will cripple
you end game unless you want the challenge. Same holds for the other
weapons.

Orome used to be 1d6 and IIRC didn't have speed-bonus, but there were
common consensus that weapon of Valar should not be so weak. One of the
things JLE tweaked.

And even if you do it is easily replaced by another just as good.
