there is a way to delete most of the "hidden" files in microsoft products. unfortunately there are so many files in so many of m$ products that i gave up and went to another o/s all together. a good site to learn about them is *sorry moderator if i offend anyone* http://www.f**kmicrosoft.com/
just replace the ** with the obvious. good luck.

you could try looking through your registry...
but yes, its a pain and hard to get rid of.
best way is to avoid M$ products alltogether.
