Hey there Tom's Hardware,

I have come across a laptop that apparently has an "ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5740M" but I cannot find a record of this thing anywhere!

This is a link to the website: http://www.msy.com.au/Parts/notebook.pdf

The site says this:
K52DR-EX143V
AMD Phenom II P920
Windows 7 Home Premium
4GB DDR3 RAM
500GB SATA HDD
ATI HD5740M 1GB
15.6" LCD Screen

Is there a typo? Is it meant to say "ATI HD5730M"?

Please clarify,
-Klosteral

Yes, it's a typo but it's supposed to say 5470M. Here's the specs on the K52DR: http://www.asus.com.au/product.aspx?P_ID=eaAlHSngNQMAv1...
Note it says 5470M.

oh, ok. cheers.
That makes sense and I am glad I have not bought that laptop; it is very inferior to the 5730M.
