ASUS VE247H should I buy it?

I plan to use it for internet browsing and gaming. Just wondering if this is the best I can get for the price range?

Any information from anyone on its faults/ good side would be vastly appreciated

That was going to be the monitor I was going to get last week, it has excellent reviews and great picture. I ended up with a 27" Acer but if I had not gotten that the ASUS would be my top choice.

thanks for the help, still wondering if someone knows anything about it? I have heard lots of reviews complaining of backlight bleeding, and ghosting (ghosting is fixable apparently).

Is back light bleeding an issue? will more expensive monitors avoid this?

I'm using the exact same model. I don't have any problem with it and like it a lot. I got this monitor for more than 3 months.
