Samsung Monitor SA100 =can't set display and resolution

Hello,
I have bought a Samsung Sync Master SA100. The screen looks left aligned, the MS looks small and fonts are too tiny and lacks sharpness. Tried setting up thru Magic Tune but nothing works. I use Windows XP and screen resolution is at 1920*1080.

How do you have it connected; VGA or DVI/HDMI?
What is the refresh rate?
What video card?

In Control Panel, set the display screen resolution to the native resolution of the monitor.

The fonts and characters may be too small at this setting. To correct this, adjust the DPI (increase or decrease) until the fonts are of the right size for you.
