Does Retail Box Athlon includes fan and heat sink?

Hi,
I just want to know if Retail Box Athlon includes fan and heat sink. Many store doesn't say anything about them and one store says it include them. Do OEM CPUs have documents and manuals?

If you buy a retail boxed Athlon, it should have a HSF that comes with as well as manuals and a little sticker.

OEM processors come with nothing. Usually pulled out of a tray right at the counter depending on what store you go to.

Retail version= (1) CPU, (1)Heatsink, (1) Fan, (1) owners manual(for what it's worth), (1) registration card, and warning not to do stupid things with your CPU. (1) box and sticker(very effective for looks), and thats about it. Enjoy.

You forgot the Warranty. Retail versions come with 1 year warranty. (i think)

Does retail CPU has heatsink and fan attached to it, or do I need to attach? If so, do I need to buy paste also?

It should come separate from the CPU with some form of thermal tape. I can't be 100 percent sure however.

Slot processors in retail boxes from AMD and Intel came with the HSF attached to the CPU.
