How to switch from onboard graphics to a graphics card

In BIOS you can change switchable graphics to manual, which will help you to choose wether which GPU to choose. You can choose graphics card with the software of your GPU.

If you got an AMD GPU then you will be able to do it throgh CCC - Catalyst Control Center.

If you got an AMD GPU then you will be able to do it throgh CCC - Catalyst Control Center.

Typically if you are using onboard video graphics and want to switch to a discreet graphics card, the motherboard (BIOS and unit) should switch automatically if it's set to Auto in the BIOS.
