Hey. I recently downloaded the Windows 7 beta and I found it very unsatifiying and wish to use the vista OS again. I forgot to partition, so right now my HD only has Windows 7. I still have the DVD with windows vista with it, but is there anyway to reinstall vista without having to lose all my files? Btw, backing up is not an option. I want to keep everything in place.
If you performed the upgrade, you may have the option to uninstall 7 and go back to Vista... though this is by no means a guarantee. The ONLY other option you have is to back up and do a full reload. If you can't uninstall 7 through Add/Remove Programs, then there is no way to downgrade.
What did you plan on doing when the Win 7 beta expired? Hopefully you've now learned never to make a Beta OS your primary OS with no path to your old OS. As for your internet issues... try finding a newer driver for your NIC... you may decide to hang on a bit longer if you can get that working the way you want. However, when the beta expires, you'll still either have to uninstall (if you have the option) or back up and reload.

Are you serious? Did you not read the installation notes before you installed 7?
I normally do not wish bad things on anyone, but seriously you are deserving of having to start all over from scratch.
