Planar PX2710MW 27" a good deal?

I found this deal on a 27" planar monitor (model: PX2710MW)

This monitor for $210!

I am wondering if this is a good deal, and if this is a quality 27" monitor. Can you guys look at the specs and let me know?

I've been deciding if I want to go with one 27" or one 24" and add another 24" in the future.

The main thing turning me off of one 27" is the high up front price. But this seems like a steal! If the quality is good, I am going to jump on it.

So is it a good monitor?

I'll be using it for 1080p gaming. Radeon 7950, Core i5 3570k, 2x4gb RAM

$210 is a good price for a 27 inch monitor, but that monitor has nothing special in terms of quality - it's a 60hz TN panel with 1920x1080 resolution. Some 27 inch monitors are 120hz, VA panels, or 2560x1440 resolution.

Its probably the best cheap, large monitor out there when Dell has that deal (which is every month!). Don't expect miracles - its a 1080p 27" so the pixel pitch is pretty large. Still a good value at that price.

I just tried to buy it and the deal isn't going on anymore (coupon code didn't work).
Are you sure that they do it every month? Do you know around what time?

Or as an alternative, can you recommend another budget 27" monitor? I really can't spend more than $230-$250. 1920x1080 is fine, of course.
