Converting a lcd to a monitor effect eyes

I' have converted my lcd tv into a monitor screen.....its sony bravia so will if effect my eyse if using it has monitor pls help

I think the default brightness is often higher for a tv than for a monitor, so if you sit closer without turning down the brightness, it might cause some eyestrain. Other than that, it shouldn't be a problem.

TV screens are meant to be watched from the far.
