2 computers 1 printer ?

Hi there, just wondering if I need an extra usb cable to hook-up a 2nd laptop to work off of 1 printer??

It's not a wireless printer? Printer has a 2nd USB connector?
Does the printer have an Ethernet connector and ability use a local network IP address?

Might be easier to just move the printer's USB cable from the desktop to the laptop when you need to print.
