Monitor problem

i have a lenovo laptop with windows7 os..my monitor goes black after every few minutes,and resumes back on a key-press..please give me a solution for my problem

That doesn't sound like a monitor problem. That sounds like your screen saver or power saving settings are kicking in. If it kicks in too fast for your taste, you can increase the delay, or even set them to never kick in, though with a laptop I'd only recommend the latter if you keep the laptop plugged in to AC power.
