I'm buying a budget 1080p monitor and I have it down to...

HannsG hk241dpb
http://www.amazon.co.uk/HannsG-HK241DPB-23-6-Widescreen...
AOC i2352vh
http://www.amazon.co.uk/AOC-Multimedia-1920x1080-Headph...
Which of the two is better value? They cost the same @130 pounds. I'll be gaming @1080p with light rendering for school.

Reasons behind your answer would be welcome.

I would go with the ASUS VE228H. It's cheaper, has the same if not more features, and quality will be just as good if not better.

Thank you for the link.
I was hoping for 23- 24 inches and maybe ips, near ips clarity. Is it too much to hope for?

What exactly is your budget? You can get a cheap IPS panel here:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-VS229H-Widescreen-Monitor-...

If you're will to spend a little more look at the Dell U2212HM or the U2312HM:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-a...

(Both monitors show up in the search. the 22 is £163.39 + shipping and the 23 is £188.00 + shipping)

It's in the first post as £130. The dell is too much. How about this?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B005UK3K8O/ref=redir_md...
The price has dropped to £135.
Thank-you for your assistance.

I would say pick between the last one you posted and the ASUS IPS. Do some research on the iiyama and see if it has good reviews or not.
