My printer will print a test page and item show in print quque, but nothing prin

I have a xerox phaser 3160. It shows as default printer. I can print a test page but it is not printing from word, pdf etc... Nothing wlse happens. How do I fix this?

Are you printing the test page from Windows from printer properties or from the printer? If nothing is coming out from the computer, reconnect all the cables, if that does not fix it, remove the printer from device manager and re-install it.

It was from the computer and I unplugged and reinstalled everything still nothing. ( Am going to try one more time.

If you can send a test page to it, no real reason why nothing else will come out. Does it try to print? What happens when you print, error messages? Does the printer icon come up and show the document?

Make sure you have all the Windows updates done and the printer is supported under your OS.
