I have an xp-pro box for the kids their account is a limited one in order to run a program that creates a backup data file I have to allow admin privelges on it even if I share all the folders for the program etc otherwise is tells me it cannot access or create backup data folder.. is there any way of getting this to run on a limited account ?? please help my 16 year old is driving me nutz !! the proggy is PCDJ-Red

I think sharing is the wrong way to approach it. What I would do (for the folders in question) would be to make sure they all have guest full access, and propogate it down the tree. Hopefully it doesn't need access to "Program Files" or something.

yeah I think the problem is it tries to write \ create a folder in program files I think I will reinstall it in a different directory \ drive and see if that helps
