Where can I download a pretty accurate CPU temperature monitor? I have this old NEC Pentium 133 Laptop that I think is overheating, but it has one of those crappy Phoenix BIOS's that doesn't tell you anything...

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Are you sure that there is a heat node one the computer? if there is nothing in the Bios, there might not be a thermometer in the computer. Have you looked around on pages like www.downloads.com or something?

If there is nothing like that in your computer you could pick one up that you attach to the chip, but that would require you to open the laptop... that could be dicey. And also you would then have a wire hanging out of the computer leading to a little screen telling you the temp.

Those who do not know, speak. Those who are silent, know.

Oh yeah, it would help to have a heat sensor of some sort in the computer wouldn't it? I'm so dumb...
Okay, nevermind...
