You Know You Have Been Playing Too Much Crawl When...

you happily ride your rattle-bike around, spot a pink/purple glowing
neon advertisement saying 'positive energy', get the feeling that
that's not quite right and then remember that it should be 'negative
energy (resistance)'. <sigh>

Since it refers to the city's power supply (or one of them, anyway),
does that mean there are no undead in Hannover?

Not really, no. :)  (Whatever would I want outside?)

When I do I'm more concerned with traffic than advertisement. I only
noticed this because it's bright neon writing and it was almost
properly dark, so it stood out more.

(Some other day I went past an ... interesting drive-in thingy with
all sorts of differently coloured, very bright neon lights. Who
needs drugs when you get funny colours for free? ;)  Seemed very
surreal to me, anyway.)

Riding around at dark is very entertaining along stretches with next
to no light (along the Ihme for example) when your night-vision is
pretty much zero (despite actual light on the bike
  • ): <speeding
along> "Wonder whether that over there is still bike-lane or
    descends down into the river." <break> <squint> <turn bike>
<continue to speed along happily> (I do know the way along there -
    by day...)

Where do they hide? I thought they were all evicted for EXPO 2000.
    ;)

  • I'd like to wind X-mas tree decoration lights around the frame.
    Wonder whether that's allowed.
