I am at my wit's end, why do manufacturers make it so hard? I have an HP Mini 110 with Windows 7 Starter pre-installed and all I want to do is boot from disk, partition my hard drive and load XP. I have tried many variations, purchased a USB Floppy and DVD drive. The boot system gets to the point of 'to load windows XP press enter' then a message comes up saying no mass storage device found, been on lots of forums which tell me I have to press F6 and load the SATA driver, followed all the instructions and tried 'many' different F6 SATA / Raid drivers, none have worked , sometimes I even get the blue screen of death telling me windows has shut down etc etc.
Can some one tell me what to do, I am quiet computer savy but this is ridiculous..............PLEASE HELP
