Duron and the Abit KT7

I know that I should be killed for asking this, but I am ordering some stuff for a computer for my boss, and I wanted to be sure that a Duron 700 would run on the Abit KT7. so please don't hurt me for asking - Thanks

Yes, that combination is what I have and it works well. However, I would recommend a KT7A or a KT7A-RAID instead. These boards have a little more upgrade potential. Also, think about going with a Thunderbird instead of a Duron right from the start. The best price for a Duron 700 is about $45 but for $55 more you can get a Tbird 800 which would perform much better.
