I was told that all box CPU's come with a HS/Fan already. If I do not plan to overclock is it alright to just use the one it comes with? I assue it is, why else would they put it with it, but you never do know. Im looking at the AMD Athlon 1.2GHz "C" type if that helps any.

Someday I will stop asking all the questions!

sure, you'll be just fine. Most heat problems come from people not mounting the HSF correctly.

 I LOVE INTEL. It tastes like chicken

Most find it fine to use the included. Some might prefer to use items from Thermaltake, etc. which MAY allow you to achieve higher speeds and/or cooler temperatures. But not all products are the same, and the retail packaged items that come with the CPU may sometimes be better.

I don't know what you might get for HSF, but with my boxed 1Ghz "B" type I got a CoolerMaster (AMD confirmed that it's what they shipped with 1Ghz) HS and a 60X60X10 4600RPM Fan, which is already better than a generic OEM and better than a chrome ORB. Still you will have to make sure you casing is properly cooled with AT LEAST a frontal intake of air. That is just what I have on my 1Ghz and it runs a 54C under load wich is still hot, but it is stable.
