Hello, I am running Windows 7 64bit on a Lenovo laptop.
Windows had an update and prompted me to restart my computer, my laptop ran dead during the update. When plugging my laptop back in and starting it up, windows failed to start and I was prompted to do a repair. After the repair finished I have been getting a system error when ever a program tries to start up.
For example, If i try to start Google Chrome, it gives me and error like this:
chrome.exe - System Error
The program can't start because GDI32.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
I am getting this error for nearly all programs I try except Internet Explorer.
Anyone know how I can fix this?
I've tried SFC /scannow which didnt work, and also I have tried System Restore with no results.
