SD Card Reader says the card is write-protected

i can't copy or paste any file on sd card because card is write protected.please help me in this.thank you.

SD cards have a little white slider on the side for right protection. see if it is in the lock position.

If the slider is NOT in the lock position, try another reader, the actual locking is done in the reader, much like old VHS and cassette tapes, if it works in the other reader, you may need to crack open the reader to see if it can be fixed.

Worse case, you can bypass it, but then NO cards will be lockable.
