Are ALL retail boxes of the C version Tbirds going to have the copper core?

Does it matter?

Yes, I've heard that the copper cores MAY be able to disperse heat a LITTLE better.

Um the copper thing its a code name processors are made of silicon not copper .

no it isn't. Cpu's up to this point have use aluminum but are starting to use copper since it is a better conductor. As for it dispersing heat better I don't know if that is for the transfer for heat to the hsf or if it is used just because they can reach higher clocks easier.

The aluminium/copper is etched onto the silicon wafers. Yes, they can also reach higher clockspeeds.

It stands to reason that the interconnects of the cpu would help the cooling processs but realistically there would be no cooling advantage. (it would be a negligable advantage .0001C or something)

It actually does, as the resistance increase at higher temperatures is much lower in copper than in aluminium.
