:--------------------------------------------------------------
: DoomRL (v.0.9.6 (beta)) roguelike post-mortem character dump
:--------------------------------------------------------------
:
: Jon Wain, level 6 soldier, defeated the Cyberdeamon
: on level 20 of the Phobos base.
: He survived 90402 turns and scored 20929 points.
: He found the Phobos Arena.
: He stormed the Chained Court.
: He ventured into the Halls of Carnage.
: He fought on Hell's Arena.

A fast and fun RL. I do think it could be a little harder, but hope it
doesn't get much harder. All your testers now have the advantage of
being dedicated RL enthusiasts (unless you've also been advertising on
alt.cooking or something) and I think this could be a great little
genre-introduction for bringing in new players.

:-- Statistics ------------------------------------------------
:
: Health 0/50 Experience 18901/6
: ToHit +0 ToDmg Ranged +2 ToDmg Melee +2
:
:-- Traits ----------------------------------------------------
:
: Tough as nails (Level 3)
: Son of a bitch (Level 2)
: Reloader (Level 1)

I don't know if the limit set of Traits showing up is because they
really are better, or just *look* better and nobody is trying the
others.

:-- Equipment -------------------------------------------------
:
: [a] [ Armor ] nothing
: [ Weapon ] nothing
: [c] [ Boots ] nothing

What's strange is that I got a nuclear device message implying I had
gone kamikaze on the cyber, but I didn't. Unless I miskeyed without
realizing and shouldn't that have changed the victory message? IIRC, a
"nuke the cyber" winner was posted previously and had a different line
in the postmortem instead of just the "defeated the Cyberdeamon" [sic]
message.

:-- Inventory -------------------------------------------------
:
:

But the pseudo-nuke did drop my inventory.

:-- Kills -----------------------------------------------------
:
: 38 former humans
: 39 former human sergeants
: 14 former human captains
: 28 imps
: 45 demons
: 27 lost souls
: 18 cacodemons
: 9 barons of hell
: 1 Cyberdemon
: 10 hell knights
: 5 arachnotrons
:
:-- General ---------------------------------------------------
:
: Before him 1 brave souls have ventured into Phobos:
: 1 of those was killed by something unknown.
:
:--------------------------------------------------------------

None of the new ones introduced in 096 (Spider's Lair, Skull City) must have
not generated this game ;->

Much - not. A little yeah ;-).

True ;-).

Unfortunately they are not balanced. The only realy good one missed here
(IMHO) is Cateye.

You mean you did use a nd or not?

Oh, this may be confused with the ********************** introduced in 096.
Ok I'll see to it.

Barrel I guess?

I mean what I wrote: unless I did so accidentally without noticing
(possible, but not likely), I didn't. But I got a big paragraph about
the cyberdemon looking at me and my nuke and I'm thinking "What?"

Same character, actually. He's double entered in the high score list.
One as simple victor and one as mysteriously dead.
