2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? Any

3. What screen resolution do you want? Any

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? Any

5. How much battery life do you need? Any

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)? WoW/Rift on Med/high

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo / Video editing,watching movies, Etc.)

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need? Any

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?


11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ? DVD ROM/Writer

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons. I prefer Asus but would try any as long as the reviews are solid.

The specs on the machine that you linked are great. It is $150 over your stated budget though.

This is within your stated budget and it will play WoW flawlessly on ultra (I know, it's what I have use). Don't get me wrong, the MSI that you linked has better specs, but it's $150 over your stated budget. If you can afford that MSI then it's the better machine, if not the G72 does play WoW on ultra with 8x AA (multisampling).

MSI - > Pure RUBBISH dont buy

avoid anything with nvidia video chips - they all fail after ~2-3 years
