The Walking Dead (TV Series)

I liked it. A little slow moving, but I liked it. I wonder when season 2 will premier.

Season 2 will be out Fall 2011.

I watched it all and loved ever second of it! Can't wait for Season2 but its a shame the writers got fired, the show will probably get worse(like heroes) or get better(doubt it).
We'll just have wait and see

Yeah what was the rational behind firing all writer from a hit TV show known for its writing..... Has anyone read the graphic novel? I'm nervous to read it because i want to keep watching the show and be surprised.

no idea. same thing here nd im not gonna read im gonna wait till the show starts again, worth the wait

show is great and also the graphic novel is good as well, id recommand highly for any post apocalyptic zombie nut out there such as me

Great show, I hope those who like it support it! After the first few episodes, I purchased the whole season and I am waiting for more. I met the kid they rescued in the first episode at a convention, nice kid. I told him to make sure they arn't picked up by Fox.

I just realized that the kids from the show are going to be soooooo much older than the first season. Anyone who watched Lost would recognize this as Walt syndrome. 80% chance the kids will be written out at some point in the next season or two.

Just an FYI the new season starts October 16th.

The walking dead are both a blasphemy of Death and Life. nothing else explains how or why. but let the dead bury the dead. the show is like watching Kings' The Stand, it's good but too much "acting" not enough action. I mean I am not watching a zombie movie to watch a soap opera. although it carries the tradition of Dead movies as far as the way it moves. this is 2011. give us what we want. the effects are outstanding, extremely graphic and realistic. effects 9 show 5. sorry if I beg to differ.

I see your point yes, but some people like character development though. It makes it personal. I am a father, so in the first season I could empathize with Rick trying to find his family, and the time he spent with Morgan and his son Duane.

Love the character development. Plenty of zombie movies with no acting, just zombies and mindless entertainment.

I think it's sooo horrible, so I can't go with it.

i watch it. i love it. but i do think the first season is better than the 2nd

The 2nd was pretty slow but great character development! I really thought they would find Sophie not zombiefied.  

And it turns out Shane is real SOB. He couldn't save Otis so he used Otis to save himself. That's a tough one. He's a die hard survivalist that's for sure but I also think borderline psycho.

I cant wait for them to air the other episodes! I hate waiting and they left off at like a WTF!! moment then it ends -_-'

I understand the mentality of finding a safe place and hunkering down but the world is overrun.

^^ yeah, I didn't realize Rick was so fast on the draw. He should have put another one in the guy behind the bar though.

I knew those guys were bad news when the one dude took a leak on the floor in the bar.

It's a good series. Only watched the 1st season.

With the third season on the horizon I'm wondering if the writers are going to be supplying some reasons as to why this is happening in the first place?

Is this man creating biological or genetic weapons, or gene splicing, or Frankenstein times 10, or manipulating DNA gone awry, something had to cause this, it wouldn't just happen!

How long do the writers think they'll keep the fan base with no explanations at all as to why this is even happening?

From every action there's an equal and opposite reaction so what was the initial action that started the ball rolling?

I truly hope there are some answers in season 3, to milk the SciFi imagination, or else it's just getting to be repetitive uselessness.

Even though Resident Evil was a movie taken from a game, I liked it and it's sequels because there was a reason it was happening.

I am Legend, was a great movie and there was a reason it happened.

So why, Walking Dead writers?

FYI, I asked the same question at AMC, and got no response.

Seems they're content riding this mindless zombie shooting farce of a TV series down the river until it gets to the waterfall!  

Then after a fan base review they'll at least be assured they still have Beavus and Butthead!  

At first, I thought it would be a very stupid ridiculous show. I was wrong. It is very excellent. It's not your ordinary "zombie" show. It brings drama, romance, action, horror, and comedy all in one. Ive watched all the seasons that have been out. I am very patiently waiting for the next season to come out. Does anyone know when the next season is going to premiere?

Since the 3rd season has kicked off what do people think?

I've stayed away from the graphic novel as best I can. I did peek a bit at the prison chapter. It looks like the prison is another failed idea of Ricks that nearly gets them all killed.

I watched the first episode of season 3 this weekend and I really enjoyed it. Too bad about what happened to Herschel, I just hope he lives..
I personally think that if I was Rick I would want to go to the prison too. I mean, if they can kill ALL of those zombies, it would be an "amazing" place to live.

This last episode I believe the title was "killer within" not sure about the title, but it was probably the best episode they've done yet!

T-Dog went down the hero, Carol is MIA, and Carl has to shoot his own mother after she was butchered up with the C section!

At least the baby seems normal.

This episode was super freaky!

And the very first one that had me on the edge of the seat!  

RIP T-Dog.

I can't believe they killed off two, possibly three major characters in one episode.

I kind of had the feeling T-dog was gonna get it. A bit of foreshadowing in the beginning when he seemed to really be struggling with what to do with the prisoners.

That episode was interesting. T-dog was a season overdue, I was kinda hoping they would keep him around just because no one would see it coming.



Uh oh husband is missing for a few days, better bang his best friend.

Uh oh the Baby is coming, and theres a little blood better cut it out of me 5 minutes after going into labor.

Uh oh the group is threatened I better suggest to Rick he kill his best friend then act like a total Bitch when he finally does.

I did think the guy who plays Rick did a good job, now if only they can get rid of Carl then all the annoying characters will be gone. Also one other thing. I can drive literally hundreds of miles without needing to fill up, my first game plan would be load up the cars and start driving north, the longer winters will give you more time to prep.

I'm loving this season. The last episode was amazing. I wasn't expecting T-Dog to die.. sad stuff.
Lori, although I never really liked her much, I didn't want her to die... poor Rick.
I'm so glad Hershel is still alive! Carol is missing, I hope she doesn't die too...
