S23A700D for gaming?

Hey everyone, just got my new pc, and need a new monitor for it. I decided to go with a 120hz instead of IPS, (my budget is only $350), and I decided on the S23A700D. Is it a good monitor for gaming? I've only heard good things, but want some reassurance from people who know what they're talking about before I buy. Also, would it be worth it to get a warranty from newegg?

This should be a good gaming monitor; the input lag and refresh rate are suitable for it, and the price as compared to other gaming monitors is fairly reasonable.
