New Hard Drive and OS question..

I'm looking into getting a new hard drive and it brought me to wondering what would happen with my OS. When I plug in my new Hard Drive and boot up my PC, what will I see/what will happen? I don't have Windows 7 on a disc, as I bought it digitally. Will I be able to get into my PC, download the digital version of Windows 7 and install it from there?

you must have a legit serial number if you bought it digitaly put your donwload iso file on a disc then you will be able to format your new drive to install the os on with the key but if it is a oem you may need to call microsoft to reactivate the os .
