Any tips on performance enhancements?

I'm a picky person and i have the latest drivers for everything

but the only enhancements i know of..
is
Bus mastering
Enabeling DMA on the drives
latest windows updates, and such on that matter
and also bios updates etc..

Any other tips on performance enhancements?
