out of the 11:
10 overclock
11 use via chipsets
they all use diff. mobos and HSFs
0 have had incompatibilites
0 have had unreliable systems
0 have had overheating probs
11 are very very happy with their systems
2 are women
i really dont know where all you guys are going wrong, its not rocket science.
Sweet! I'm manage a corporate network with around 70 workstations. Four or five boxes are Intel, the rest are AMD. Of those AMD boxes around 10 are K6 variants running on the Asus P5A, the rest are Athlons. I have everything from Athlon 500's on the FIC SD11 to 1.2GHz T-birds on the A7M266 with PC2100, and even three Micron Millenia Max XP's. My servers are both Intel. Dual PIII 866 in one box, dual PII 450 Xeon in the other. Anyway, I don't spend anymore time fixing AMD boxes then I did when most of the machines were Intel. I hope to replace my aging Xeon system this year with the 760MP and dual Pally's. Getting very close to having a whole network of incompatible, overheating computers. LOL
