64MB-1696MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory
6MB RAM
9hr battery, blu ray player with dvd burner

I'm not a gamer, but I do have a new HD video camera I want to use. With a quad core, will I notice the difference of onboard vs dedicated for basic video, movies, etc?

Any opinions would be much appreciated! Thanks

Hello guzzler;
For what you plan the 2nd choice is the better option IMO.
The Mobile Intel HD 3000 Graphics graphics included with the i7-2630QM is actually quite good.
