Unable to change video memory on an hp 625

Hello,
I've just bought a HP 625 laptop and the integrated video card uses about 512 MB of system memory (although it has a 256 MB sideport memory) and I was wondering how to change how much system memory the integrated card uses (I was unable to find a way to change this, I looked in the BIOS section, but I can't change it from there)?

The laptop has a turion 2 p540 cpu with an integrated ati 4250 gpu.

Thanks!

  1. I don't believe you can do so. The amount of shared memory used by the video card is set by Windows automatically.
  2. That would be bad, as the video card uses way too much memory for what I need.
