Canon Printer IP4600 no black

Hi, The Black in the IP4600 stopped working when I replaced the cartridge. Thought it maybe the clip in the cartidge so replaced that one but still no luck. Am ready to never buy Cannon again. Any ideas out there how to fix the problem. Thanks.
