Hi everyone. I was wandering if anyone knows how much PIII performs differently with intel BX and 815e chipset. Since their price differenc is about $30, which will get me an extra 100 mhz with PIII. Thanks in advance.

If you plan over overclocking, I'd recommend an Asus CUSL2-C with a 700E, which you should be able to clock at somewhere beyond 933mhz.

i815e has more feature ( Agp 4x, ata 100, FSB 133 MAX )

bx less feature ( Agp 2x , ata 33 only, FSB 100 MAX )

so Make your pick

BX executes programs about 2% faster. 815E offers UDMA 100, 4x AGP, and overclocks better. The CUSL2 is the best choice for the 815E, the Abit BX133 is the best choice for the BX. The 700E is the best choice for overclocking.
