Considering this laptop, please help with advise

I am considering purchasing this laptop:

I am being sold on the price and the dedicated card. Is there something I am missing?

I use the computre for surfing and watching HD movies, as well as the occasional game when nephews come over.

Is the Athlon 2 series strong enough for that price? thanks.

Hello ggsxt;

Can you be more specific about "as well as the occasional game"? The HD 4250 isn't exactly known as a 'gaming card'.

That laptop seems to get unusually poor review scores: HP ProBook 4525s review

The slightly more expensive HP ProBook 4520s looks to be getting much better reviews.

Other options in about the same price range:

Worked on computer retail before and noticed that AMD laptops tends to get warmer compared to Intel.

ggsxt -

How do you feel about the HP dv-6v? It's $549; I think you get the right balance of size, mobility, and performance.

The specs are:
15.6" (1366x168) HD
2.4 GHz AMD
4 GB DDR3 1333 MHz
500 GB HDD 7200 RPM
Operating system
Windows 7 Home Premium
Optical drive
Blu-ray R, CD R/W, DVD R/W
Video memory
1000 MB Dedicated graphics card

I think it would be more than enough of what you're trying to do. What do you think?
