I do not hoard items in stashes; i carry everything i know i need with
me, at all times. Thus i had weight issues, and had to juggle several
things. Ironically, getting rid of food and useful scrolls was actually
a big issue durring the Vault and lower Main levels. So, i just dumped
them somewhere and forgot them. "You have not worthy of my weight
allowance... Now, begone!" The only other problem with this game was
Hydras, and their regeneration. Only a flaming sword can put them down
for good, in a melee battle... So i had to stay out of the swamp until
i had gained a sufficiently powerful flaming sword, and i got one. I
guess i could've done something else for that third one, but meh. I'd
have just drained and spat flame at them.

as a gift from Xom. Later i found a Scimatar of Flame, which let me
kill a few pesky Hydras. A level with a unique came up, that was
wielding above Demon Blade as +0,1. Enchanted it up and dumped the
2hand for the Demon blade since i already had teleport with the below
armor, fire res with below things. Weight was becoming a issue so i put
the Scimatar where i could find it; ironcially no Hydras came after
that point in time. Got the Great Sword Flame from either a gift or on
the ground, but it allowed me to do the Swamp alot more easilly then if
i had kept the Scimatar.

Roguelikes are high culture with highly educated people who have
projects with high hopes for them which are often high fantasy.
