Hi :)

Run a hard drive test in DOS...HIRENS CD etc, it sounds like a failing hard drive...

All the best Brett :)

Breet giving the right information

Other trouble shooting

Here's what to do
Do you hear you hard drive spinning?
If you see it in the BIOS {Basic input/output System} by pressing F2/ Delete key
If so it likely to work

If it is dying try getting linux and backing up your information

Dont put your hard drive in a other company, it might ask you to give a product key for windows
Why you asked?
Cause you are loading the uncorrect information from a other computer
If you replace someone motherboard, then start the computer up, will ask you for a windows key.
