I'm about to upgrade my computer, and I'm unsure which of 2 options to choose. Btw I don't want to spend more money, so don't mail a lot abot 1200+ and DDR... :-)
My current system is a celly 500, 192 MB RAM (64 PC66, which I have to throw away), a ATI Rage Fury Maxx (GPU), and some other stuff, which of course is not very important.
My system could after the upgrade be:
1. Duron 800, 256 MB PC133 RAM
2. TBird 900, 128 MB PC133 RAM
What should i do?
I would appreciate a benchmark, if you occousionnally had one...

First off, get the 900 with 256 MB. The price difference is very small. Try www.pricewatch.com

Go with the TBird, and spend the extra cash on the 256MB. In addition, don't skimp on the motherboard. Get a high end board from ASUS, ABIT, EPOX, or MSI. It is worth the additional $40 or so.

My opinion only....

Well, maybe I havent made my self clear enough. I have two choices:
1 Duron 800 with 256 MB RAM o r
2 Athlon Thunderbird 900 with 128 MB RAM
Yes I buy a cheap mobo, named Acorp KT7, but I know it's stable and it only cost about 2/3 of a ASUS.
-and you cannot compare these prizes with www.pricewatch.com, because i live in Denmark, and prices are a bit different here.

My concerns is as following:
If I am going to play Q3 at 1024*768 WITH A ATI RAGE FURY MAXX (Maybe a bottleneck?) wich of the two setups would i prefer?
