Windows won't boot after hardware update

Last response: in Windows 7

your easiest option is to get a new drive (if your existing drive only has 1 partition) and install windows fresh on it, with the existing drive disconnected. you will have to reinstall all programs.

the Hard way would be to try and boot into Safe Mode, uninstall and delete all drivers, and install all the correct drivers for the motherboard, chipset, network, etc...

What type of error are you receiving?

Like Dogsnake said, you are seemingly introducing a new computer to Windows w/ the motherboard change. Do you recall if you purchased a retail or OEM copy of Windows?
