hi-

this is my first post here (but not first forum i am in) so if i do something wrong dont flame me too bad...;) just point it out. thanks

anyway i got sick of internet explorer and downloaded mozilla
i have a massive library of ie bookmarks and have looked around to find a folder to stick them in in mozilla but have had no such luck. i know you can access it from the menu, but there is probubly a way to get it directly on then menu.
(my mozilla is version 1.2.1)

thanks!

welcome to the light!
i have recently done the same thing all i had to do was to switch mozilla as my default browser and all of my bookmarks automatically imported. depending on what version of o/s you have will determine how to setup your defaults.

Welcome to the forums man! Nice to see you here. :smile:

I don't mean to get off topic, but did you check out Phoenix? That was faster than Mozilla for me and a lot of others. Just if you wanna check it out, it runs pretty well.

Did you look thru the <A HREF="http://mozilla.org/releases/mozilla1.2.1/" target="_new">Mozilla release notes</A>?

Best wishes,
Bryan

Mozilla keeps the bookmarks in an HTML file instead of in a folder, the approximate path to the file is..
win9x=c:\windows\application data\mozilla\profiles\*.slt\default\bookmarks.tml
winnt4=c:\windows\profiles\*your-logon*\application data\mozilla\profiles\*.slt\Default\bookmarks.html
win2k/xp=c:\documents and settings\*your logon*\application data\mozilla\profiles\*.slt\default\bookmarks.html

hope I helped..
