Splendid Video Enhancement Technology. is there anything like it for another laptop like a sager np9150?
I love how it makes the colors come out and the screen is much easier on the eye. (not like f.lux)
anyone know of any software that does this?

unless i am mistaken isn't splendid provided on asus laptops? i own one and could swear i've seen the icon around.

you can change how color appear with standard amd/ati or nvidia drivers. you can also change brightness levels, contrast, etcetera. images will still appear differently on different screens for other variables though such as panel type, panel backlighting and screen coatings.

what do you mean by "colors come out" and "easier on the eye"? colors pop more on glossy screens but they are not easier on the eyes.

just trying to get a feel for what you realistically expect.

I understand.
The ASUS G55VW had this color utility called " Splendid Video Enhancement Technology " but it's only for ASUS laptops.
I have a sager NP9150/p150EM that I want to have something around the same. It makes the monitor more red I see more vibrant colors on top of each other(i can't explain it well I'm not specialist) It does it to the desktop and pretty much everything and when i turn it off my screen seems WAY more blue. Like highly blue.

This is the best I can explain it. I used asus utility as an example. I loved it.

i have an asus laptop with splendid installed but i have never set it up because it looked like a heap of junk when i first played around with it. i prefer my colors to be accurate so i use the nvidia color calibration software. you can of course make your colors more "vivid" than normal by altering your settings as i said before.

i would suggest that you run your graphic cards color calibration software (nvidia or amd/ati variant) which should allieviate a blue cast to your monitor.

i dont know of any 3rd party utility that works with multiple systems. often drivers are a very specific thing and meant for one particular device.

Ok I'll give it a shot, thanks for your help.
I was amazed how it made things "stand out" for example in bf3 i can see things clearer for example.
I will try it now thanks!

Asus splendid utility.
The profile is for the display, you can choose which one you like best in their premade profiles. It changes the display colors.

So far I have not found any software like this. I use it for the display on my laptop and it automatically turn son at startup. I noticed it gets rid of some blue and i tried windows 7 calibration utility y and can't get it like the splendid utility had it.

The picture of the flow is just a example so you know which one you like better and i usually choose gamma the display appears more vibrant and looking at the desktop is so much easier on my eyes.
