Need help, opinions please.

Hello lovely people of Tom's!
I'm planning to buy this specific LED TV.

I like it because it's IPS but... omg, the response time is like.. 14ms. |:
From what I've read here so far, anything above 5 is bad right? D:

Would the fact that it's IPS somehow make up for the high response time?
Should I just find a TN panel instead?

Any "true" response time around 10ms or less is fine. I have an IPS monitor with a 12ms response and have no issues with movies or games on it. Don't know how that ASUS is though, mine is a couple of steps over that model, it's about an $600 monitor. The Dell I linked should be great though.
