Hello, I'm trying to fix an epson stylus cx8400 printer for a friend. The printer was set up properly and I downloaded the drivers from the epson site.

The problem is that every time it prints only blank pages come out. But the ink reports that it is being used. The only thing I can think of is that there is a clog somewhere because I have tried running the head cleaner feature on the printer itself and it still spits out blank copies. Even trying to make copies on the copier doesn't work so I know its not the setup on the computer. I just need a little help or make a walk through to check it where the clog is myself. Any helpful comments would be appreciated

Have you tried a new cartridge? I normally use distilled water to clean print heads, however, I have also used rubbing alcohol but be careful that it does not damage any plastic.

Then you need to replace the print head, or just get a new printer . . .
