Click and scroll is not working

Dear sir,

I got a problem in my optical mouse(USB).All lights are working properly but its click and scroll are not functioning properly,so i want to know the actual hardware problem,so i myself could do correction .
Help me!

Anil, welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums!

Go to Control Panel ---> Administrative Tools ---> Computer Management --- Device manager. Disable (not delete) the Mouse. Restart the computer.

Windows will 'find new hardware' (mouse) and install the correct drivers.
