I've bought a lot of computer parts in the last couple of years and haven't purchased it anywhere but http:// http://www.newegg.com
The reason for this post is my last purchase was the first that I was unsatisfied with something. I bought the SN41G2 from them as soon as they received one. $399 at the time. Before I even got the product the price went down to $369 so I wrote them a sad story, didn't ask for any money back and they refunded me part of the money back on my Credit Card.($20) I have read their policy plenty of times and knew that I wasn't entitled to a refund but they gave me part of it back anyway.
If you want the best service, shipping, most of time price(but it's always close) go to newegg. I have NEVER sent anything back, my merchandise has never been damaged or broken. They are a wonder.
And I have made thousands of dollars worth of purchases

the first SN41G2 I bought from Newegg was a dud. They shipped it in the retail box and didnt cover the handle. It got tossed a lot and was damaged. i made a complaint and they contacted Shuttle on the issue since Shuttle ships them out in the retail box. They are concerned about the quality of the customer service they give. This is why they are known to be one of the best.

Agreed...I order from NC and they are in cali...I get almost all my products in two business days...that is impressive and I have never had to send anything back. Their customer support is outstanding. This makes them a market leader of online sales today. Maybe other stores will follow their ethics

I'm approaching the $10K dollar mark with NewEgg. I just recently opened up a local business (no shop yet, just from home) doing repairs, upgrades, builds, and anything else. Before I found NewEgg, I wouldn't have even tried to do any business for myself. I started out on PriceWatch, only to get severely burned on multiple occasions. Local store prices are often insanely priced. These delimas made competative pricing impossible.

Long story short, NewEgg has proven top notch. A couple small complaints: eradic pricing. One item can be on sale for say $43, then onsale later that day for $50! Makes it a bit hard to quote customers real time when multiple parts are being ordered, as well as a bit insulting to us shoppers (on sale for $7 more!?!). In fact, they should drop the whole sale gag. They can still drop prices temporarily, for whatever reason. Just remove that "zombie market" tagline: "SALE!". And their rating/comment system is FUBAR. They didn't post a simple remark of mine about my concerns of a heatsink/fan being too heavy for my liking (and that really was an understatement, as it flexed the motherboard when attached), but they post remarks that belong in a forum or flame war. Perhaps a large turnover in that department?

All in all, thanks NewEgg. Keep those prices competative and you'll keep my business.

I have found a few other dealers who are just as reliable, but NewEgg is currently my first choice.

Here at the University, most if not everybody I know who regularily upgrades their PC buys from NewEgg. (That and Ebay.) The other etailers don't come close in terms of quality coustomer care. Their prices are often less than optimal, but sometimes I spend the extra three or five bucks knowing they're a solid, extremely reliable company.

I'll just agree with the comments here. Their delivery record is unbelievably good with me. It's hard to beat their prices, and even when they are a few dollars higher they usually get my business because of their reliability. My only gripe, like siliconjon, is that their pricing not stable. I understand that they can't to price adjustments after the fact, but I recently ordered a case that dropped in price $5 between the time I ordered it and the time it was shipped. They wouldn't refund the $5. I called about it and the customer service rep said that she could cancel the order or I could contact them after I received the order for a price adjustment. Stupidly I didn't write her name down because when I wrote back I was denied the refund. Anyway, it seems unfair to not adjust the price when it goes down literally hours after the order is placed.
Still, I'm not going to let a $5 dispute change my mind about this company, considering all the great service and pricing I've received from them.

No AOL flames please. I've had this email address since 1994 and don't want to give it up!
