Awkwardness of two different monitors?

On a scale of 1 to 10, how awkward would it be to use a 19" 1440 x 900 monitor next to a 23" 1920 x 1080 monitor?

Should I do it? Regardless of whether or not I should, if I don't, what would I do with my 19" monitor once I get the 23" one... It's still in fair condition.

You could try selling the eMachines, or keep it as a spare, but honestly I doubt you would get much money for it, that monitor is dated. I actually have the S231HL, and I can tell you that due to the stand height, unless you have another S231, even a22" monitor will be somewhat awkward next to it because it is neither the same height, and often not the same resolution. The other issue is that if the eMachines has some use on it, it will be considerably darker and the colors will look different.

If you do multi-monitor, you really want the same monitor at the same age for consistencies sake.
