Ok, I'll admit to it, I f'd up my software horribly (It's only been a week :??:) . It all started with a rather slow startup. I get irritated and do a hard reset, and it continues like this until I corrupt the startup sequence in the system files. I attempt to repair my files, but my machine doesn't sense a hard drive connected. In a fit, I do some hard resets (yes, how foolish) and now not even the startup disc will work. Is this FUBAR or is there a way to fix this?

Build:
ASRock Pro3 z77
Intel i5-3570
MSi Radeon 7770 1gb
Seagate Barracuda 1tb 7200rpm
Crucial (4gbx2) Ballistix
(What was) Windows 7

That's actually another problem that caused my frustration. Sometimes my drives show up in the (UEFI) BIOS, sometimes only the optical drive is detected, and once or twice, neither were detected. The optical drive works based on its LED indicator, and I can hear and feel the vibrations of the hard drive mechanically working, maybe the SATA cables or the SATA ports on the mobo are defective...
